End of week one

Hi,

It was an interestin week. It's always nice to explore new tools and see if they can be useful to be used with our students. I really love to work with NING but here I see that I can use many tools that are free.
Great week.

  1. Raphael,

I also love Ning, but I cancelled all my accounts when they decided to change their paying policy in the middle of the game. Since then, we've been trying to find other collaborative, communicative tools. Edmodo does the job very well and serves our educational community with respect to us. That's why we've been trying it. :-)

  2. Hi Carla,

This was the bad news when they started to become famous and decided to charge us to have an account. I also started looking for other platforms (free) but NING gives us so many options that finally we decided to continue and we opted for the cheapest option proposed by NING and it is okay for our teachers' trainings.
The advantage with NING is that you have forums, blogs, you can upload videos, photos and all kind of documents. Besides, it easdily to contact you members. Finally, we are 75 teachers for the moment and for 20 dollars a years, it's not a big deal.
Thanks for taking contact with me.
We'll be for sure in touch

    Raf
